CADBURY CARAMEL EGG CUPCAKES

I found these Cadbury Crème Egg cupcakes on pinterest.com, which took me to the Cupcake Activist, which lead me to Cupcakestake the cake and to the original owner of Zoey Cakes from NY.   

I decided to give them a try and instead of using the Cadbury Crème, I used the Cadbury Caramel Eggs.  I also did not freeze them, but dropped them right into the batter as well as used a Devil Food recipe, but could use any recipe.  Here is how they turned out.

I used caramel Cadbury Eggs, but you can use the Creme Eggs

I just dropped mine into the batter - but you can freeze and then just leave on top and bake
