Q. What makes your cakes so special?

A. We like to think that it's a combination of two things; great taste and looks. We only bake from scratch using premium ingredients. Our cakes are rich and flavorful, and our decadent butter creams and ganache are the best! Each one of our creations has hours of work invested; from initial consultation to delivery. For this reason we require a $85.00 minimum order for any project, regardless of size or occasion. We do not offer slab/sheet style cakes. Highly detailed cupcakes (flowers, figurines, labor intensive decorations) begin at $4.50 a piece, with a 2 dozen minimum. Tiered first birthday cakes receive a free smash cake if requested.

Q. How much will my cake cost?

A. Our smallest offering is a two tier that serves about 15, and it is $150. A good way to estimate approximate prices for tiered cakes serving 50 or more for any occasion (birthday, wedding, etc.), is to multiply how many servings you need by $4.00. That will give you a good idea of cost. Your final quote could very well be less, or more depending on exact detailing. Sugar flowers will generally add to the price, and heavy detailing such as intricate piping/painting/blown or pulled sugar work/figurine modeling. Please note, we do not create character cakes or licensed figurines. We can create a cake with the general background theme, and you can add store bought figurines after delivery if you choose.

Q. When should I book my date?

A. As soon as you have an event date, we should be your first call! We book up pretty quickly, and since we only take on a select number of projects per weekend, unfortunately we have to turn many requests away. Your date is booked once we have completed a contract and a retainer/or full amount has been paid. 

Q. Do you charge for a consultation or to sketch some ideas for me to see?

A. No way! We both need to get an idea of what it will look like come delivery day. But please don't ask us to copy a cake you found online or in a magazine (unless it's one of our original designs); we'd like to create something unique for you. To streamline the ordering process, we ask for a general theme, ideas, servings needed, etc. ahead of meeting so that we can be prepared with ideas when we get together. 

Q. Do you charge for tastings?

A. Never.

Q. Do you charge more for weddings?

A. Nope. Every cake is individual and is priced solely on work needed for that specific project; not the occasion it happens to be for. 

Q. Do you charge for delivery?

A. Delivery fee is $15.00 in city limits (Tempe, Scottsdale, Gilbert, Chandler) If you elect to pick up your cake, we will pack it in a box and secure the bottom with skid resistant lining. Delivery to most East Mesa, Queen Creek, West Valley North Scottsdale areas begin at $50.
